The Time Line New Testament Bible uses The New Testament in the Language of the People by Charles B. Williams. Montreat Edition, Sprawls Educational Publishing (Copyright 1995) as the written biblical text for the entire Time Line New Testament Hoffman Bible project. So, this is not a new translation as some might suspect; nor is this Bible project intended to be a definitive study Bible.  Rather, the Time Line New Testament Hoffman Bible is a meticulously rearranged, chronological timeline of the New Testament, itself.  Reading the New Testament chronologically tells the beautiful story of Jesus’ life on earth and the foundational establishment of the first-century church, the “ecclesia”. The early ecclesia, or “assembly”, or “gathering” in Greek, is the fundamental establishment of the first century, or early church. When reading the formation of the early church through the same New Testament scriptures that you might normally read within your Bible, but now placed in a meticulously accurate time lined, or chronological order, you can see a whole new light shed on exactly what the early canonical apostles and church followers went through. This process opens a greater understanding and appreciation for the Word of God today.
